ETP Copper (Cu-ETP / C11000)
Electrolytic tough pitch, the workhorse 99.9% pure copper for electrical conductors, busbars and general fabrication. IACS conductivity ≥ 100%.
Oxygen Free Copper (Cu-OF / C10200)
99.95% pure copper with oxygen content below 10 ppm, ideal for hydrogen-rich environments, high vacuum, electronic and cryogenic applications.
OFE / C10100
Oxygen-free electronic grade copper, 99.99% pure and the premium choice for semiconductors, particle accelerators and ultra-pure electronic conductors.
DHP Copper (Cu-DHP / C12200)
Phosphorus deoxidised copper, the global standard for plumbing tube, HVAC tube and brazed assemblies. Excellent weldability and forming.
Cu-DLP / C12000
Low phosphorus deoxidised copper with high conductivity with brazing compatibility, used for radiators, heat exchangers and electrical tube.
Silver-Bearing Copper

Does TIC Dubai manufacture copper?
TIC Dubai is a sourcing, stocking and project supply specialist. We work with leading copper mills in Europe, Asia and the GCC and consolidate ETP, OFC, DHP and silver-bearing grades into single shipments for our clients across the Middle East.
What is the difference between ETP and OFC copper?
ETP (Cu-ETP / C11000) is electrolytic tough pitch copper, 99.9% pure with 0.02–0.04% oxygen, used for the vast majority of electrical and fabrication work. OFC (Cu-OF / C10200) has its oxygen reduced below 10 ppm, eliminating hydrogen embrittlement at elevated temperatures and making it the preferred choice for electronics, vacuum equipment, cryogenics and audio.
Should I specify copper or aluminium busbars?
Copper busbars offer approximately 100% IACS conductivity, smaller cross-section, stable bolted joints and superior performance in switchgear, transformers and data centres. Aluminium is ~50% lighter and lower cost but needs ~1.5× the cross-section and bi-metallic plating at joints. Most premium GCC switchgear OEMs specify copper.
What copper grade is used for HVAC and refrigeration tube?
ACR copper tube is manufactured to ASTM B280 in DHP copper (Cu-DHP / C12200). It is cleaned, dried, capped and supplied in straight lengths or coils for air-conditioning and refrigeration installations across the GCC.
Can you supply tin-plated copper busbars?
Yes, bare and electroplated tin copper busbars are supplied to drawing, including custom punched, bent, taped, sleeved and tin-dipped finishes for switchgear and panel-builders.
What sizes of copper sheet and plate do you stock?
We supply copper sheet from 0.5 mm to 6 mm and copper plate from 8 mm to 50 mm, in standard 1000 × 2000 mm and 1250 × 2500 mm sizes, plus mill cuts to width and length on request.
Do you supply lead-free / low-lead copper alloys for potable water?
Yes, we supply DHP copper tube and lead-free brass alloys (CW724R, CW725R) for drinking-water applications, with full UBA, 4MS and NSF-61 documentation where required.
What is the conductivity of pure copper?
Annealed pure copper is the IACS reference at 100% IACS, approximately 58 MS/m at 20°C. ETP copper meets or exceeds this; OFC reaches ~101%; silver-bearing variants slightly lower depending on alloying.
Which copper grade resists hydrogen embrittlement?
Oxygen-free copper (Cu-OF, Cu-OFE) and deoxidised copper (Cu-DHP, Cu-DLP). Standard ETP copper can suffer hydrogen embrittlement above ~370°C in reducing atmospheres, which is why OFC is used for vacuum brazing, hydrogen service and brazed assemblies.
What thickness of copper busbar is standard?
Common busbar thicknesses are 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 20 mm with widths from 15 mm to 200 mm. Current carrying capacity depends on thickness, width, orientation, ventilation and ambient temperature. Refer to IEC 61439 for sizing.
Do you provide mill test certificates?
Every copper consignment ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates covering chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions and electrical conductivity. Heat-numbered traceability is maintained from mill to delivery.
Is copper recyclable?
Yes, copper is infinitely recyclable without loss of properties. Roughly one-third of global copper demand is met from recycled material. Recycled copper meets the same EN, ASTM and IEC specifications as primary copper.
Why is copper used for HVAC tube and not stainless steel?
Copper's thermal conductivity (~400 W/m·K) is roughly 25× higher than 316 stainless steel (~16 W/m·K). For heat-exchange duty (condensers, evaporators, refrigeration coils), copper transfers heat far more efficiently, justifying its higher per-kg cost.

TIC Dubai is a mill representation and international procurement company. Rather than holding warehouse stock, we coordinate factory-direct shipments sized to your project and consolidate deliveries against your programme.
Can I buy a few sheets or a single length?
Our supply model is built around container-load and project quantities. For small retail requirements, a local stockist will serve you faster; for bulk, project or recurring procurement, we're the right partner.
Do you supply containers directly from the factory?
Yes. Every enquiry is quoted mill-direct, with forward production booking, third-party inspection and shipment coordinated by our procurement team, from FOB origin through to your discharge port.
Can you support recurring procurement?
Yes. Long-term supply agreements and forward production bookings are the core of what we do for importers, contractors, distributors and EPC firms across the GCC and wider Middle East.
What is your minimum order?
