    Dimensional Guide

    Thickness, width, coil weight, surface.

    Thickness Range

0.1 mm to 3.0 mm cold rolled, slit to width on request.

    Width Range

10 mm to 600 mm, covering standard mill widths and precision-slit narrow strip.

    Coil Weight

Up to 2000 kg per coil, with ID 300/400/500 mm options for converter compatibility.

    Surface

Bright cold-rolled, oxide-free finish for stamping, plating or insulation coating.

    Temper Guide

O, ½H, H and EH cold rolled tempers.

    • O (annealed): soft, maximum formability, deep drawing
    • ½H (half hard): balanced strength and forming
    • H (hard): springs, terminals, stamped parts
    • EH (extra hard): connectors, leadframes, precision stamping

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Copper coils & strips FAQ

What temper of copper strip is used for transformer windings?

Soft annealed (O) or ½H copper strip is most common; it conforms tightly during winding without springback, with insulation paper or polyimide overlay applied during build.

Can you slit copper strip to narrow widths?

Yes. Precision slitting from mill master coils down to ~10 mm wide with tight burr and camber tolerances for stamping and electronics use.

Which copper grade is best for connectors?

Cu-ETP for general electrical contacts; high-performance copper alloys (CuSn, CuNiSi) for spring-temper terminals where elastic strength matters.
