What is the standard grade for copper earthing rod?
Solid copper earthing rods are supplied in Cu-ETP (C11000) per BS EN 13601, typically Ø14 mm and Ø17 mm with threaded couplers. Copper-bonded steel earth rods are also available where higher driveability is required.
Can you supply copper bar to drawing?
Yes: round, square, flat and hex copper bar to drawing, cut to length, with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates covering chemistry, mechanicals and conductivity.
What is the tolerance on drawn copper rod?
Drawn round copper rod is supplied to EN 13601 / ASTM B187, typically ±0.05–0.10 mm on diameter depending on size. Tighter precision tolerances are available on request.
