Pre-painted galvanized steel coils in PE, SMP, HDP and PVDF paint systems on Z120 / Z180 / Z275 substrate, supplied in any RAL colour for roll-forming, fabrication and architectural cladding.
Technical overview.
PPGI is a coil-coated galvanized steel; the GI substrate is continuously cleaned, chemically pre-treated, primer-coated and finished with a top-coat paint system on a coil coating line. The result is a uniform factory finish that outperforms post-painted steel in adhesion, colour consistency and service life.
Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron (PPGI) is a galvanized steel coil that has been coated on a continuous coil-coating line with a primer and one or two top-coat paint layers. Paint chemistry (PE, SMP, HDP, PVDF) is selected based on exposure and required service life; substrate coating (Z120 – Z275) is selected based on cut-edge and back-side corrosion requirements; colour is specified in the RAL system.

Substrate zinc coating.
PPGI is built on a galvanized substrate; the zinc layer beneath the paint determines cut-edge corrosion life and back-side performance.
