    GI Corrugated Roofing Sheets

Hot-dip galvanized corrugated and trapezoidal roofing sheets, supplied in custom lengths, profiles and zinc coatings for warehouses, factories, infrastructure projects and agricultural buildings across the GCC and Africa.

    Overview

    Technical overview.

GI corrugated sheet is the standard industrial roofing and cladding substrate of the region, a hot-dip galvanized coil roll-formed into a structural profile that delivers span, drainage, walkability and 30+ year service life when correctly specified.

A corrugated GI sheet is a roll-formed panel produced from hot-dip galvanized coil. The profile (corrugation pitch, depth and rib geometry) is engineered for span, load and water-shedding. Sheets are cut to project-length on the roll-forming line, so there is no theoretical length limit; a single sheet can run from ridge to eave on most buildings.

    Applications

    Where corrugated gi is specified.

    • Industrial warehouses & factory roofing
    • Pre-engineered building (PEB) envelope
    • Logistics & cold-storage facilities
    • Cladding for industrial & infrastructure projects
    • Agricultural sheds, poultry houses & livestock shelters
    • Fencing & site hoarding for construction projects
    • Bus shelters, canopies & temporary structures
    • Mining, oil & gas non-process buildings
    Zinc Coating Reference

    Specify by zinc coating.

Zinc coating mass (g/m² total, both faces) is the primary GI variable. Match the grade to the exposure environment and project life.

    GradeZinc (g/m²)Per faceService lifeTypical use
    Z6060 g/m²≈ 30 g/m² / faceInternal / dry, short-lifeInternal dry-wall studs, internal HVAC ducting, painted secondary use
    Z8080 g/m²≈ 40 g/m² / faceInternal / mild exposureDoor frames, sheet-metal fabrication, internal cladding, white-goods

    Standards

    Certified to international specification.

    ASTM A653
US standard for hot-dip zinc-coated (galvanized) steel sheet and coil, covering commercial (CS), forming (FS), deep-drawing (DDS) and structural (SS, HSLAS) grades; specifies Z coating designations from Z60 to Z550.
    EN 10346
European standard for continuously hot-dip coated steel flat products for cold forming, including Z (zinc), ZA, AZ (Galvalume) and ZM coatings on commercial, drawing, structural and HSLA substrates.
    JIS G3302
Japanese standard for hot-dip zinc-coated steel sheet and coil, widely referenced across Asian mills and exported tonnage into the Middle East.
    ASTM A792
US standard for steel sheet, 55% aluminium-zinc alloy coated (Galvalume / AZ), a premium heat-reflective and cut-edge-resistant roofing substrate.
