Classic five-bar tread pattern is standard. Diamond and pointer patterns are available on programme.

Which alloy is best for chequered plate?

1100 and 3003 are the most economical for general architectural and light-duty flooring. 3105 is preferred for coil-formed tread coil. 5754 is the European structural specification for transport and load-bearing tread plate.

Technical overview.

Chequered aluminium plate combines structural rigidity with an embossed anti-slip surface. TIC Dubai supplies the full architectural and transport range of chequered plate in classic five-bar and diamond patterns, in alloys 1100, 3003, 3105 and 5754.

Supplied in standard mill thicknesses with cut-to-length on request. Custom pattern, gauge and finish available against project tonnages.

Commercially pure aluminium with excellent corrosion resistance, formability and thermal conductivity. The benchmark for chemical, food and decorative applications.

The workhorse aluminium alloy. Approximately 20 % stronger than 1100 with the same excellent formability, specified for cladding, roofing, ducting and general sheet-metal fabrication.

ASTM B221

Standard specification for aluminium and aluminium-alloy extruded bar, rod, wire, profile and tube. The principal North-American standard for extruded aluminium product.

ASTM B928

Standard specification for high-magnesium aluminium-alloy sheet and plate for marine service. Certifies 5083, 5086 and similar marine alloys in H116 and H321 tempers against exfoliation and stress-corrosion cracking.
