Korinplex is Korindo's flagship film faced shuttering plywood, manufactured in Indonesia from selected tropical hardwood veneers, hot-pressed with WBP phenolic resin and overlaid with a dense thermosetting polymer film. For more than two decades it has been the formwork panel of choice for landmark construction across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
Korinplex is produced in Korindo's integrated Indonesian mills where logs, veneer peeling, drying and panel pressing are all controlled in-house. Each panel is built from fully-overlapped 13-ply veneers bonded with weather-and-boil-proof (WBP) phenolic resin to T-1.5 standard and finished with a dense polymer film cured under high heat and pressure.
Specified across high-rise cores, walls and slab shuttering, infrastructure works, tunnel formwork and architectural concrete. The smooth F/F finish leaves a fair-faced concrete surface ready for direct finishing, while the F/W wire-mesh face delivers anti-slip industrial flooring and transport decking.
Engineered for repeat-pour cycles in extreme climates, Korinplex panels are rated for service temperatures from −40 °C to +50 °C, resist site chemicals, oils and most form-release agents, and maintain dimensional stability through repeated wet-dry cycles. With proper edge sealing and handling, contractors routinely achieve 25 – 40+ pours per panel.
