The legendary plywood of the Middle East.
For over two decades, Korindo plywood has been the contractor's specification of choice across the United Arab Emirates, widely recognised and trusted on landmark and government projects, from prestige towers to national infrastructure.
A legacy built into the skyline.
Transcontinental Indenting Company has worked with Korindo for over four decades to establish the brand in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain. Transcontinental is the sole representative of Korindo in these countries.
Founded in Indonesia, Korindo has grown into one of South-East Asia's most respected integrated plywood manufacturers, controlling its supply chain from concession-managed tropical hardwood forests through to veneer peeling, panel pressing and film coating in its own mills.
In the Middle East, the brand is synonymous with film faced shuttering plywood. For more than two decades, Korinplex has been the contractor's default specification on high-rise construction across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider GCC, widely recognised and trusted on landmark projects including the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and major UAE government and infrastructure programmes.
That reputation rests on three pillars: consistent mill quality, the cycle economics of repeat-pour formwork, and supply continuity across decades of project work, the qualities that make formwork companies, main contractors and consultants come back to the Korindo brand.
Six reasons contractors specify Korindo.
Consistent mill quality
Vertically integrated Indonesian production, from log yard to film coating, delivers panel-to-panel uniformity.
High reusability
Korinplex 25–40+ pours, Superform 15–20 pours. Cycle performance contractors plan around.
Fair-faced concrete finish
Dense phenolic film overlay yields gallery-grade architectural concrete straight off the form.
Structural reliability
13-ply cross-banded hardwood cores hold dimension under heavy reinforcement and vibration.
Contractor-trusted legacy
Two decades of specification on UAE landmark projects, government works and infrastructure.
Export-grade manufacturing
T-1.5 WBP bonding, BS 1088 marine grade, EN 314-2 Class 3, E0.5/E1 emissions across the range.
Four panels, one brand standard.

Factory-direct sourcing, answered.
Do you keep stock in Dubai?
TIC Dubai is a mill representation and international procurement company. Rather than holding warehouse stock, we coordinate factory-direct shipments sized to your project and consolidate deliveries against your programme.
Can I buy a few sheets or a single length?
Our supply model is built around container-load and project quantities. For small retail requirements, a local stockist will serve you faster; for bulk, project or recurring procurement, we're the right partner.
Do you supply containers directly from the factory?
Yes. Every enquiry is quoted mill-direct, with forward production booking, third-party inspection and shipment coordinated by our procurement team, from FOB origin through to your discharge port.
Can you support recurring procurement?
Yes. Long-term supply agreements and forward production bookings are the core of what we do for importers, contractors, distributors and EPC firms across the GCC and wider Middle East.
What is your minimum order?
Typically one FCL container per specification, though this varies by product and mill. Share your requirement and we'll confirm the mill's MOQ, lead time and indicative pricing.
