Korindo WBP plywood is a fully weather-and-boil-proof tropical hardwood panel manufactured to BS 1088 marine grade. Built from selected Indonesian hardwood veneers and bonded with phenolic resin throughout every glue line, it is engineered for permanent exposure to moisture, marine environments and demanding exterior joinery applications.
Each panel is built from kiln-dried tropical hardwood veneers, individually inspected for voids and overlaps before pressing. Phenolic resin is applied to every interlayer and the assembly is hot-pressed to BS 1088 / EN 314-2 Class 3 standards, guaranteeing a fully boil-proof bond that survives marine immersion.
Specified for boat hulls, deck panelling, transom reinforcement, marine fit-out and exterior architectural joinery. Widely used across the Gulf for jetty structures, dhow building, wet-area cabinetry and outdoor signage.
The combination of dense tropical hardwood faces and phenolic bonding gives Korindo WBP plywood Class 2 – 3 durability against fungal attack and exceptional dimensional stability through wet-dry cycles. It can be coated, varnished or laminated without surface preparation issues.
