Density and machining behaviour
Thailand MDF typically runs 720-760 kg/m³ with very consistent core density, giving clean CNC edges and excellent screw-hold. China MDF spans a wider density range (650-780 kg/m³); premium mills match Thailand quality, but value-tier coils can show core softness that affects machining.
Formaldehyde class
Both origins supply E1 (≤0.124 mg/m³) and E2 standard grades. Carb P2 and Japanese F**** super-low emission grades are available from select mills in both countries; confirm certification before order if the project is healthcare, school or hotel fit-out.
Pricing and lead time
China-origin MDF generally lands at lower FOB pricing with shorter sea time to Jebel Ali. Thailand MDF carries a small premium but offers more consistent density and surface finish. TIC Dubai supplies both; selection depends on application and budget.
