Brass sheets and plates FAQ
What is the difference between polished and brushed brass sheet?
Polished brass has a high-lustre mirror finish that maximises reflection, best for decorative statement surfaces. Brushed brass has a linear satin grain, softer, more matte, more tolerant of fingerprints and scratches. Both are common across hospitality, retail and architectural projects.
What thickness of brass sheet do I need for architectural cladding?
Typical architectural brass cladding ranges 1.5–3.0 mm. Thicker plate (4–6 mm) is specified where flatness over large spans, rigidity or engraved detail is required. We supply across 0.5 mm to 50 mm.
Do you supply brass plate for engraving?
Yes, fine-grain engraving brass is supplied in standard plate sizes for nameplates, plaques, awards and laser/CNC engraving across the GCC.
