Reading a coating designation
Z140 means 140 g/m² total zinc (both sides combined), roughly 10 microns per face. Z275 means 275 g/m², roughly 20 microns per face. Higher Z values mean longer outdoor service life, but also higher coil cost and slightly reduced formability.
